The Headlight Harness is a comfortable everyday dog harness with a bright 80 lumen LED light installed in the front. Its purpose is to help dogs and their owners see better during evening outings and make you more visible to people operating cars, bikes, and more.
The harness perfectly serves its purpose, but the design is what stuck out to me the most.
As stated before, Lady DESPISES harnesses. She never enjoyed the way they felt around her body, and sometimes, refused to move at all until I took it off.
It was a completely different story with the Headlight Harness.
The memory foam padding and mesh are included with superior comfort in mind. There are also multiple leash attachment points and industrial strength stitching, which make me feel better knowing my fur baby is completely safe and secure.
A handle on the back of the harness is used to buckle your pet into any vehicle using the car’s seat belt. You can rest easy knowing your beloved pet is safe during your travels to dog-friendly destinations or a simple visit to the vet office.
The harness runs on an RV battery, but the first one is included with your order and is very easy to replace. Simply unzip the water-resistant battery compartment and you’ll be able to easily exchange a dead battery with a fresh one when the time comes.
Our First Walk With the Headlight Harness
At first, Lady was apprehensive about wearing the harness. After a few minutes, was galivanting about like her usual self. The harness is a little bulky on smaller dogs like her, but it was still easy to put on and she seemed completely comfortable.
There was still sunlight outside during our walk, but even then I could tell the difference that the Headlight Harness makes when it comes to lighting. It brightly illuminated the sidewalk in front of us even during daylight, so it’s sure to provide plenty of light after sunset.
She even had the opportunity to show it off to a few of her dog buddies that we encountered during our walk! Many pet parents wanted to know about the harness and where they could find one for their dogs.
